We want to be a church where we are known for how well we love people and meet real needs in our community. If True Hope disapeared tomorrow would our community notice a change or loss. At True Hope Church, we want to boldly live to give our lives away. Through our time, skill sets and resources, we believe living generously is the avenue through which God can change the world. Every year 10% of our annual budget goes straight into church plants, missionaries, nonprofits, and people in need.
Instead of building our own little kingdom we believe strongly in creating partnship with orgnazations/groups that are already working among different people groups. Serving Our Community
As a church we believe it is important to meet the needs of those around us. Below is a list of minsitries that we started as a church to meet practical needs in our community.
Local Schools
We have developed a partnership at 4 local schools where we have created an account called Be The Remedy that allows the counselors at the schools to help meet practical needs of the students and families. We also try to find ways to care for the teachers throughout the year.
True Hope Food Bank
Open every Saturday from 9am - 11am at True Hope Downtown
The True Hope Food Bank has been meeting the needs of the hungry in our community since 2006. We have served over 1,000 families and are acquiring approximately 50 new families every month. We estimate that we are moving roughly 10,000 lbs. of food each month to help those in need – that’s almost 35 tons already this year!
The Basement - A Teen Thrift Closet

The Basement is a free clothing boutique for the teens in our community, and also provides school supplies and hygiene items.
New American Ministry
Karen Baptist Church of Boise meets Sunday afternoons at True Hope Collister
Our Christian friends from Bhutan (El Bethel Prayer House) worship Sunday afternoons at the True Hope Youth Center.
Local Partnerships
Boise Rescue Mission Ministries is a nonprofit organization committed to meeting the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs of homeless and addicted individuals in the Boise and Nampa, ID areas. Boiserm.org
Take a global trip by crossing the street! By welcoming those that have come to the doorstep of Boise as refugees you will have come to a far away place where the language and customs seem intriguingly strange. Glocal.org
Launch Pad is a place where students can connect with God and their friends, during school hours, in a way that encourages them to launch into their world fully equipped to live out their faith.
Love INC Boise is made up of volunteers from 50 churches in the valley. We do not offer cash resources, but can often provide some temporary relief services such as cleaning and personal care items, clothing, and diapers that help find the funds for your most pressing need.
We also offer classes through the Abundant Living Program on budgeting, life-skills and additional resources to create long-term financial stability.
We are a partnership of churches of all stripes working together to grow and multiply healthy churches to reach our cities.
The mission is big. We need to plant hundreds of healthy growing churches in our valley over the next 15 years just to keep up with our astounding population growth, but God wants even more. thecitynetwork.org
National & Global Partnership
As a church we want to partner with organizations/individuals that are taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth which means many of our partners are in closed countries and we don’t always get the opportunity to share about what God is doing in their ministry publicly.
We support three indigenous missionaries in the Arab world through the Enduring Love Ministry. They are introducing Jesus to people in North Africa and the Middle East region, to make known His saving love, to disciple, and establish communities that will be rooted and sustained. Enduring-love.org
We support two Turkish Pastors as they continue to share the Gospel with the local people and establish churches. Turkishconnections.org
We are partnering with a Pioneers team to start a church-planting movement among an unreached people group. This team is building relationships and using chronological Bible studies to introduce spiritually hungry Chadians to the good news. We currently support 3 individual missionaries through Pioneers to reach unreached people in Chad. Pioneers.org
Africa New Life Ministries is a child sponsorship program located in Rwanda. Africanewlife.org
Dan & Sarah Chetti work in Lebanon training and mentoring Arab pastors to go back to their home countries as well as ministering amoung the foreign migrant workers in Lebanon. InternationalMinistries.org
